Can we get a "sticky" topic that stays at the top for FAQ's about Lowrance?

It seems the very same questions come up all the time and it would be nice to have one place where users could look to find answers to many of these questions.

Things like what chips are compatible with which units, etc.
We could possibly add to the list over time or something too as things come up.

There is lots of great info shared here over MANY posts, I would just hate that some of it would get lost, I think if we had a sticky topic we could house this info and put it right in the face of the users.

Just comment on it every day and it will stay on the top.

true that would work but often they get lengthy and then turn into a real mess to find useful info.
I will put some things together and post it up. Thought this mitt be helpful.

Great idea Cap. This whole what works with what and which version is compatible where would be a great source to those just getting into new electronics. I recently got an HDS Gen2 Touch and now want to start expanding the capability.

Yeah, I will start a new topic and then Brian can help with making it “sticky”, then we can add things to it.
I find the chips to use is the biggest thing because Lakemaster no longer makes current chips that will work with Lowrance. Then with the new SW update from Lowrance its actually making it so the Lakemaster chips that used to work in Lowrance, no longer do. That is irritating.
I will start it off, I just need to find time to put things together. Lots of tricks learned over the years.
