Just so everybody remembers, our O-Line is half second stringers, much like GB. We lost Sullivan and Loadholt… that’s alot to try to fill. I also noticed the ref’s putting Kalil under the microscope…. and then the other way, Rogers stands in the pocket surrounded by 4 packers holding and nothing happens… why is that ?:???: (not that it cost them the game, the poor play did, but it may be relevant later) shock

    Back to the OP….

Vikes and Pack fans enjoy your super bowl this weekend. If you’re lucky, you might get 1 more later this season….exactly 1.

    Pug,

And where will the Seachickens be at the end of the regular season? Playing golf?

Considering what they have done in the playoffs the last 2 years, I’d be hoping that too. coffee

So I’ll just do what I have done the last few years, wait to follow them when it matters.

Sullivan and Loadholt out are facts, not excuses. Besides, your just another hot air bag fudgie spouting off “after” the game. Where were you last week, licking your Lion inflicted wounds…? jester

Been far too busy boys to be able to get in on the pre-game heckling… but I will say one thing, players out with injuries and those that are playing with nagging injuries plain lead to poor play (every team). I thought the Pack could weather the Jordy loss and I still think that they can, but to lose most of the rest of your recieving corp, then Lacey gets hurt (sorry Big G, I wouldn’t have played him either), parts of your O-line missing leading to A-Rod’s poor play and then a defense that looked like that on this past Sunday, after giving up 500 yards in 3 consecutive weeks… Purely mindboggling.

I also think that Baktiari (sp.) got caught holding more than once G… I will also say this, the last game of the season will mean something in the division… The pronosticators of this website always call the Norris the weak division, when I think it is one of the strongest in the NFL!!! I gotta go to bed, been up to long, but hope to chime in again soon!!!

I doubt that… devil and really I am not going away. I still think we are a better team, than the one that showed up Sunday afternoon… much like the SF game…. who the heck were them goofs ? doah It is true, good teams “find a way” to win no matter the circumstances…. just as it is true, good teams lose games they should have won… see GB vs Detroit…. it happens. I am not making any excuses, we should have had a better showing. I still think we can win the division and maybe even a couple playoff games, until we run into Carolina… blush

6 sacks, total dominance by Packers defense = yup, Ass Kicking!

Maybe next time will be different but not this game.

As for not showing up on this thread last week, I didn’t realize that was required.

It is required, if your gonna talk crap after a game, you should have had the foresight to do it before the game.. or were you unsure of your team ??

Terrible showing by the Vikes, not even enough effort to make it interesting for more than about 1 quarter.

The Pack looked OK. As I said, I wouldn’t be making any Superbowl reservations yet. I’m just thinking what the score would have been had that been the Vikings vs the Pats. They’d have had to hang a 1 next to the Visitor’s score on the board if the Vikes had played that crappy against a league-leading team.

Until the vikings can win a game against a decent team, they are like the “common man”, the best of the lousiest, and the lousiest of the best. I think it’ll be a while before they can beat anybody decent..

I hear ya but then I may have had to eat my words!

Mostly though, I just didn’t want to let this opportunity slip away so easily.

    Just having fun Big G!
    I’ll quit now.

Looking forward to the next Minnesota vs Green Bay game.

I did see Cutler take the Bears in to win tonight’s game against GB.

    AT Lambeau no less.

Looks to me like beating on the Vikes took a tole on the Pack with a short week. Will the Pack be able to recover from this one to face a suddenly hot Lions team next Thursday?

The race for the NFC North just got a whole lot more interesting. It is conceivable that the Vikes and Pack, both fall apart and the Bears come from behind to win the division. Not saying it’s gonna happen, but I’d say there is a 20% chance of it happening at this point.

Hopefully, the Vikes beat Atl this week and take care of business at home the rest of the season.

We’re up at the cabin for the holiday. It took some work to get NBC to come in Thursday night but it was worth it. The pack were shutout at home in the second half? Wow, All the pressure is on the pack in this division. The last game of the season at Lambeau could be very entertaining.

If Minnesota loses to Atlanta, then Minnesota and Green Bay will have identical win-loss records. Tee Hee all you want. This just proves that the Pack is no better than the Vikes.
