Looking to take my 4 yr old kid up to leech for a three or four day fishing trip. Anyone know of any reasonable places to camp? Will be taking my boat up. Thanks for ideas.

Federal Dam has a really nice COE campground. It’s well maintained, reasonably priced and right on the lake. The town is within walking distance. A check on their web site might be in order to check for availability- – jerr

Are you wanting to camp on the lake or just in the vicinity?

There are one or two forest service campgrounds within a 20 min drive for around $15 per night. On the lake it’s more like $50, usually with advanced reservations needed.

I like to stay on the lake, makes things easier.. just concerned on docking my boat

I have been looking for options as well and am looking at Stony Point Campground. Very reasonable and access to quite a bit of the lake from here.
