Would like to run up to the Ashland Areach in next few weeks. Family weekend. Would love to find a campground on the lake. I’m open for bringing camper or renting cabin. Just want to be on the lake and have some things on sight for kids to do..

As for the area, we used to camp a small campground inland in the National Forest called Birch Grove on Twin Lakes. Only 20 sites, but they were pretty good bass, bluegill lakes… Sits a pretty easy 20-30 minute run into Corny or Washburn…
