I needed to find an easier way to move the boat and camper around in the shop so decided to try a camper dolly. Instead of having to load the camper every time I wanted to get the boat out, now I can slide things around. The frame is built out of 2 x 12 and 2 x 10’s and sheeted with 3/4″ plywood. The caster wheels are from ebay, 5″ swivel wheels with a 661 pound capacity per wheel.

Nicely done. You take it for a test ride yet?

Well, it wasn’t exactly easy but the camper dolly experiment worked as intended. It required walking the corners to get it where I wanted it.
