What do people use for a camp saw for cutting firewood? I’m talking about wilderness camping such as in Voyagers or BWCA. Bow saw? Brands?

I use a “Sven Saw”. Also can replace the blades.

x2 on the Sven saw. It is super small, and will cut lots of wood fast, or cut a large log fast. The folding ones are ok too but are bulky and cut slower in my experience. Sven saw takes a minute to assemble whereas the folding ones instantly flip open.

I know a couple guys that use a dewalt battery powered chainsaw in VNP when camping. They stash it in a duffel bag and have a bow saw laying around for when they get checked. Maybe not legal, but definitely effective and they aren’t hurting anybody….lol.
