Does anyone use a camp chief oven and if so how do they work. I plan on taking an enclosed trailer out west this year and would prefer or like to try to do more cooking then the cast iron fry pan and mountain house meals.
When my wife and I had our Daughter this fall I made a bunch of freezer meal that I could just take out and put in the oven, crock pot or on the grill and I would much rather try to do something like this out west.
Very similar to the oven we picked up for my buddies box trailer. Our stove/oven is propane and works awesome. Basicly the same as most camper ovens. We paid about 200 for ours and camper replacement ovens were a lot more when we were looking
From what I’ve seen they work well, there are a couple in the FW’s extended family. One aunt has had hers quite a while and uses it fairly often car camping.
