Anyone have any experience with the one burner or 2 burner models. Looking at the Expedition (2 burner and comes with flat griddle). Will be using it camping and ice fishing and wondering how they perform and how they are to transport.

B-man was recently gushing about his new camp chef camp stove in the backpacking stove topic. Maybe he’ll chime in here… where it’s actually relevant.

You won’t regret either one depending on your space. I switched over from the griddle to the camp chef oven and we eat like kings in camp. I pre-make lasagna’s and all kinds of dishes that we just throw in the oven and then I can cook on the two burner for the top. Ice fishing I have pre-made breakfast sandwiches or pizzas we can throw in the oven and I can percolate a batch of brew on the burners. There is also a griddle for over the top of the burners as well. It takes up alot less room then the big griddle which I still use all the time I just leave it at home or the cabin.
