Not sure what’s going on here, looks like they added a large wingdam north of the launch and brought in a ton of rock at the landing. Will send off an email and post results. Heads up for those few who may launch out of here this spring.

Could pose a problem if they just push those rocks in the river instead of removing them.
Launched out of it yesterday, it’s an immediate drop down. They definitely have to move that pile, it’s a pretty nice ramp underneath it.
They piled up the rocks not even in a wingdam fashion, looks like they just dumped it in. For now it completely kills the current in that area tho which made it real easy loading unloading. Saw some crayfish already inhabiting the area so it’s a good thing.
Entire parking lot empty on my return, except for the car of crackheads parked way to close to my truck. The tweaker in the passenger seat asked how the fishing was, and didn’t even ask for a dollar so that’s nice. Cops patrolled thru when I launched and when I loaded, they are cracking down over there, pun intended 
Do you think they might of put the pile there to keep people from dumping cars in the river?
Ha! Never know over North, although with it being fairly shallow there it wouldn’t get in to far, but criminals are pretty dumb. There was a large telephone pole laid across the ramp, im assuming to keep from people driving onto it, got moved at some point this spring.
Years ago while fishing fishing off the dock there thought I was seeing lights reflecting off the water. After a while it dawned on me it was a car under the water with lights still on.
Hopefully it attracted the baitfish in for ya 
Stopped by there last fall and there appeared to be someone living in a large shady looking motorhome.Never know what you will run into down there.
There’s people who live all along the river bottom there, both sides. Live, camp, vacation, I guess I really don’t know, I do know there’s more tarps, tents and hammocks than other places 
Couple years ago now I had to coerce a young lady there, who was in the middle of the river, a state fugitive, high on meth, and naked, to get on board to go look for her clothes on shore. That’s a good story.
