Going to Cabo around spring break and was looking for some recommendations for a fishing charter.I have looked into Gordo Banks Pangas however thats an hour drive from our resort in Cabo San Lucas. Anyone used some of the charters in the Cabo marina they would recommend?

I’d make a decision when you get down there. If they have north wind before or during your trip getting in fish will be tough.

I’ve been down there the last couple springs and the wind dictates everything. Warm water from the south and you’ll catch everything. Couple cold days of wind will kill the bite.

I don’t know guides…we stayed north toward los barilles. If the water is warm and the wind is gonna be calm bring a rod and rent a kayak. This is from last year off a kayak with a 360gt search bait and my pike spinning rod.

I was down there a few years ago. Went down to the docks and negotiated with the locals and got a pretty good deal. If you do this make sure you agree upon on amount and tell them to include license and bait in the cost or they will hit you up with an “extra” for those items.

Went with Gordo Banks 2 years ago. We had a large group so we had several boats. Some captains were better than others, but all caught fish. We caught 5 or 6 yellow fin for a half day. I would book again on the boat were on. Our guide very professional and fun. I believe he ran the 25 foot parker
