Cabin thermostat setting

What is a good temp to keep the thermostat at for an occasional use cabin in the winter that has a hydronic in floor heating system? I was thinking 50-55 should suffice, it also has a propane furnace to bump the heat up when we’re there in the winter for a few days at a time.

I set at 50-55, works good for us.

Years ago, one of my plaster/dry walkers addressed this with a home owner for a home I built. He recommended over 58. Claim was it keeps the plaster/mud from shrinking and cracking. So we ran with that. The properties I manage are all set at 59 for vacancies over the winter. Never had an issue in 25 plus years so I continue to use that 59 as a base line

    55 for me.
I have a low temp warning set at 50 so if it does go off it gives me the right amount of time to drive up and see what’s going on before the pipes freeze.
