I saw the one out of hastings last year that that tommy skarlis and insert partner here won in the first week of may. Seemed like a pretty cool show but was disappointed that they talked almost zero about techniques, presentations and bait choices. I liked the fact that anglers were only allowed one rod a piece and no live bait. Bass guys figured this out a long time ago.

Tommy is Jeff Lahrs partner, They could use 2 rods.. The MWC gave up on the no bait tournies for 2015..

The people who put these walleye tournament shows together could learn a whole lot by watching some of the nationally aired Bass tv shows. They are much more entertaining. With that said, it’s pretty tough to get too in depth with techniques and presentations in a half hour show.

They could have taken 30 seconds and said here’s the rig tommy is using. Here’s how heavy his dropper jig is. I could fit that info into a 5 min show. And no RRRRRR I don’t want to use live bait, I am not a hack.
