I agree with Grouse. Woodbury is a retail nirvana and Cabelas builds that?! The “aquarium” there is indicative of the entire store, undersized and half ass. The selection is only good if you shop online and pick up.

    I shop MFF.

Up north I go L&M, Reeds, and Delaney so in Park Rapids.

I’d like to see a Scheels open in the cities, always have great service there.

If I pick anything up when I’m at Cabelas, I always check the internet price on the in store kiosk. 9 out of 10 times I find something priced cheaper on the Internet that they match at checkout. Can’t understand why the store and Internet are not priced the same in this day of computers. Should be a snap to do. Very poor at restocking shelves/items that are sold out. Here lots of complaints about being out of stock on the sale flyer items when the door opens on sale day.

Bought some items on the employee pricing special night once and the very next week the items went on sale for less than the employee pricing! WTF. I called customer service and got credited.

Cabelas is building nothing but Express shopping stores now. The only thing they are good for is sending my online order to for free pick up. I may browse while I’m there but I’d never drive there to buy what I’m in need of because I know they wouldn’t have it in stock.

I began shopping there because of their warranty on their brand products and their buy $500 get $100 off type coupons and they were also my first CC so I could use the points offered there.
Now 12 years or so later there warranty is crap and I only shop there when making those large purchases with their coupons or to redeem my points credits.
