I recently purchased the new Bushnell Core DS No Glow and Low Glow trail cams.

They boast that it takes better daytime and night pictures because it has two sensors. One for daylight photos (no flash) and one for night time infrared photos.

    My take:

    Trigger speed is phenomenal

Video quality is very good. It shoots HD 1080 30P or 60P. I’ve been running it on hybrid so I get 2 photos and a 10 second video clip every time it triggers. I then run a 3 second delay before it can be triggered again.

It’s user friendly. It didn’t come with much of a user manual, just a starter guide. They have a full users manual online and I never had to look at it. Super easy to figure out.

Picture quality was really really good. The only times I saw it struggle was when it was still light enough to think that it didn’t need to shoot infrared. This is always a tough time for trail cameras and the Bushnell did pretty well with it. Night photos were VERY good and was never washed out. Flash range was 80ft on the no glow and 100ft on the low glow.

They boast a 1 year battery life. I haven’t had them long enough to confirm that. Still going strong after a few months though!

Here’s a daytime and night photo for a sample. If you’re looking to add a camera to your arsenal I would check this one out!
