Burris Customer Service/Warranty work

    I began repping Athlon Optics, and have been migrating a lot of my scopes over. However I still own quite a few upper end Burris scopes and want to give KUDOS to any company that does the right thing for the customer.
    I have a Veracity 5-25×50 with clarity issues. Owning a lot of high end scopes serts the bar pretty high for great glass and flawless operation. This particular scope would blur out at high magnification. At 5 to 8 power, it was crystal clear. As you increase the magnification, the image would become very dull.

    I sent the scope back to Burris a first time, and they went through and fixed it. In less than a year, I noticed the same problem was back and increasingly getting worse.

    Called Burris and gave them the previous RMA#. No hassle, just send it back. They indicated that warranty work was running 3 to 4 weeks. 2-1/2 weeks later, I have a brand new scope sent to me. No repairs, no refurbished, no hassle.
    I always appreciate a company that evaluates a situation and does what is best for the customer. In the long run, much better marketing and probably a less expensive resolve to the problem. waytogo

    Have to say Vortex has been excellent for me only had to use them once but service was great.
