I’m looking at buying either a bullwhip or a rogue. I’d mainly use it for heavier tungsten and small spoons/ rippin raps. I’d also you the rod for finicky walleye for about 3 days a year. does anyone have any recommendations on which rod would be better? also does anyone know of any deals that are happening or going to happen on either brand? thanks toast

I haven’t used the Rogue, but what you are describing is exactly what the Bullwhip is designed for. I use mine primarily for Tungsten Jigs but have used it tiny lead jigs up to small spoons. A lot of people really like it as a dead stick rod for walleye also.

I own one of each and really like both. Each one will do exactly what you are looking for. The Rogue in my opinion is a bit “stiffer” so I think it is a little better as a deadstick and for spoons/Slap Raps but the Bullwhip is usually my first rod out of my bag when fishing tungsten jigs for gills, crappies and perch. You won’t go wrong with either.
