I don’t mean to rip off fireline’s topic but I would like pics of your Smitty set ups. I know that there are allot of great ideas out there and would like to take different ideas and incorporate them into what I need to build for my needs. Already going off bee’s use of PVC and totes. Also thinking of ways of turning tote lid into rod storage.

Thanks in advance for your pics. IceAsylum.

Here’s one I built to haul a Clam 6800… pulled like butter!

There’s a 55 page thread on Ice Shanty about Smitty sleds people have built. Search for My Homemade $15 Sled.

On my one-man sled I put ski’s right on the sled. I can remove them if I want too. For my bigger sled I have wheel that I can put on or take them off. The wheels are for those days walking down roads with no ice or snow on them. Just any time there is rough surfaces so you do not mar up the bottom of the ski’s. Sometimes I fine it easier to leave the wheels on to go to my fishing holes. Good luck on what ever you do!!
