Was out a couple weeks ago and those midge flies were crawling all over me and these little flys that looked like ordinary house flies were biting the crap out of my legs. My question is how are the bugs out there last couple days? May flies yet?
Thinking bout taking the woman out Saturday and if they were as bad as last time she will make me cut my trip short for sure
2 may fly hatches last weekend and the flies were biting, but not terrible. Going to be pretty calm, so you can expect to have some issues with flies. Bring some bug spray and spray her ankles, she will be fine.
Yep, long socks that come up to your knees. Soak them down with Off. Hate those little ankle biters!

Stable flies. Plaster Copper tone Sport spf 50 on your lower legs. They don’t like the stuff. Fleet Farm also sells spray for horses. I haven’t tried that though.
