Bucks fighting already

Got a few pics of bucks fighting in velvet. Maybe just pushing around, but I hope they don’t mess up the racks in velvet. Thought this was pretty early for this.

Seems very early, but neat, nonetheless. I have seen a few bucks together in the last couple weeks, but no fighting on camera yet. Hopefully they stick around another 3 weeks as one of them is a shooter. This high water has driven them from where they used to bed, so they’re all out of whack this year on my property.

I too have pictures on the same date if not close to yours with bucks sparring. Earliest I’ve ever seen, but makes sense with t-levels rising.

I noticed the same thing starting about August 23rd on the cameras.
With that said I got a picture of my first clean, hard horned buck on the 25th.
