crappie bite this winter

    So how do you guys think the crappie bite wil be this winter at BC? I’m hoping it will be more like 07 than 08

    Never been there Mike. How many acres and where? Any structure in it?

    698 acres. Webster county, Iowa. flooded timber. more structure than any lake I’ve been on

    it was okay but nothing like the #’s from 07 at least for me

    I was kinda hoping that it wouldn’t freeze this year. Looks like I’ll be disappointed. We killed crappies all spring long so they are definitely in there. Finding them on BC is always the challenge. Be careful, BC is deep and there are a lot of springs on the north end.
