Brush With Fame….

The other day I’m at my local Verizon store getting phone that found the bottom of Red Lake last weekend replaced. I’m wearing my black IDO hoodie, standing at the counter while guy is setting new phone up. Another employee walks out from the back and immediately starts staring at we as he walks by. He continues to stare as he walks past and suddenly turns around and says slowly “Innnn Depthhhhh Outdoorsssss!! I’ve seen you on TV, haven’t I?!”

lol….I wanted to play along, but my honesty got the best of me. Not only is it the best made, warmest hoodie I’ve ever owned, it’s evidently got “star power” to boot.

Now if only wearing one of the IDO hoodies got a guy a break on their Verizon bill, eh?!

James, approach it like insurance. you’ll bring in a group of how many members for a group rate??

Mike, have you been trying to use the old “Don’t you know who I am?” gag while wearing that IDO hat to get into restrauants without reservations, etc?

Ain’t that the truth! I hate to admit, last two times I’ve had issues & needed help, I’ve gotten it…pleasantly….with a smile. A year ago, an arrogant “Viotch” nearly had me jumping ship…definitely different vibe last couple visits…then I get bill in mail. …smile gone.

Grouse, only reservation I make is for anniversary dinner… but, I came frighteningly close to forgetting this year. …If I do forget in future, I’ll be sure to call on the power of the IDO hoodie ; )
