It is my understanding that I can bring night crawlers into state but I can’t bring leeches or minnows. I will be fishing Lake Winnie in July. I plan on buying all minnows from resort but would like to purchase a pound of leeches before arriving. I usually go through a pound or more of them a year and probably 3 flats of crawlers. Don’t really want to buy leeches every day and am trying to save some money.
Coming east from Fargo where should I stop for leeches. I would pre order them.
As long as they are dehydrated first and not brought in a container of water, you should be fine.

Won’t catch me dumping out minnows or leeches at the landing either. Of course they never get lake water either, they stay in iced cooler.

3 flats of crawlers??? If I recall correctly, there are about 50 dozen crawlers in a flat. You use 1800 crawlers? Wow!

Around 500 crawlers per flat and I and the wife fish pretty much every weekend and some long weeks.

Why not order them from Valdos or such…either to your house or pick’em up?
They are Minn based.so should be good….
Talked to Vados today kinda high on flats but my normal bait guy hasn’t been answering phone.
