Does anyone know if the standard Cisco Alumatrac mount works with the brew city base mount or do I need to order the cisco mount from Brew City’s website?
I have mine hooked into an aluminum trac that is a different brand. Not sure what a Cisco mount looks like, but would think it would work. Bought mine from Thorne Bros, guy was very helpful.
Well this won’t let me share a link. Wondering if I can buy the Cisco Alumatrac mount (google that) or if I need to get the brew city alumatrac mount (google that). They’re both made by cisco – I would rather have more flexibility and purchase directly from cisco.
The standard Cisco Alumatrac mount comes with 3 or 4 hole patterns for different rod holders. Not sure if the BC would be a direct mount to any of those or not. Probably need to call Brew City and ask. I notice the one on their website states that it’s drilled for the CT360.
I looked at the Cisco mount and I think it would work but without having them together to match up it would be hard to say. I would call Thorne Bros or head over there if your close.
When I bought mine 3 years ago for my Lund, Tim didn’t have any in stock. He ordered the right mount from Cisco and tapped the holes to fit his LiveScope pole. He said the hole sets from Cisco wouldn’t work. That was then, though.
Just to circle back and maybe answer anyone’s future questions.
Cisco mount from Cisco will allow two screws to be installed but you’d have to tap the other two.
Brewcity only has the four base plate screws necessary to mount the CT 360 base.
I ended up going with the Superior Fishing Product mount as it was pre-tapped for the brewcity and any future item I would want. It’s also cerekoted black instead of silver.
