Just talked to a friend that was at BO tonite and they walked out from the parking lot on the North end of the dam. On the way in Laynes buddy when through. 
Layne said the ice looked a little grey and just as he told his buddy to stop he went in up to his waist. It was 14 feet deep or so and he got out without going in any further. Layne said all of the ice along the entire dam south to the beach looked wet. With the warmer temps the last couple of days that ice is expanding and contracting a lot. Just be careful out there. I was out there yesterday with my wheeler all over the lake and the ice is good (12-14 inches) just watch for anything that looks iffy.
