Ice conditions – Ice out in Brainerd/Nisswa area

    I will be up to the cabin for the week after Easter.

    We obviously will not be ice fishing, but I’m really hoping for open water.

    Jason, any insight?

    My kids will just be very muddy explorers for that entire week, if we don’t have some open water.

    Ice is all gone. Hit a couple of lakes this afternoon for crappies. It was a little breezy out there but still managed a handful of fish. 45-47 degree surface temps. Fish were real scattered, caught them all in 5-7 feet.
