Ice out on Whitefish Chain?

    Hey guys just wondering if all the ice is off of the chain. If so I think I’m going to chase some crappies this weekend. I heard there was over a foot last week but haven’t heard anything since. Fill me in

    Not sure of whitefish – but i saw on one of the twin cities news channels last night that they reported the ice was off gull lake as of monday.

    The lake is not completly ice-free yet. There is still some big expansives that have ice still. The edges are free and clear though.
