Things are shaping up after a slow start to the season. Although ice conditions vary the bite has started out fairly decent. Gull lake is producing some decent walleye action along the shorelines we can access and the ice is about 4 inches. A few scattered reports from the small lakes say the crappies have been decent in the mornings and evenings. Most of the small lakes have about 4-6 inches of ice. So far just walking ice but I have seen a couple of anglers using atvs to get out there. But the ice keeps changing each day so I would still use caution. Good luck this week and I’ll try to keep you updated on the changes.
