I’ve wanted to go the last couple of years. I’ve always wondered how early would you suggest getting there, and how long does it take to get through the check ins?

That really depends on how badly you want your “spot”. If you’re not super picky I would leave BIR by 9am. That will give some options to pick your holes by 10am. That leaves time to get stuff ready, walk around, check out the vendors, and make friends with your neighbors.

If you’re looking at somewhere specific on the map, then the early bird gets the worm

11 years and I’ve not brought a fish up. Awesome time with great friends and made some new ones. Be back next year to keep my streak alive

Seemed like a lot of nice fish caught this year. I guess I’m going to have to go up next year…..
