    Some Advice:

    1) look for coupon codes to reduce the price even further (the last 2 years there were over $100 in savings available if you knew the codes)
    2) If they sell out quickly, keep checking online throughout the day and days following, they always restock
    3) No need to go to a physical store early in the morning, I’ve purchased them the past 2 years laying in my bed and buying from my phone
    4) if you’re just buying one for Livescope, sell the GT-54 transducer quickly afterwards before the market gets flooded to make some of your money back..I’ve sold all of mine for $150 each days after the sale…
    5) The Ultra 106 can use the same Livescope power cable the 93UHD does (you might need to swap a larger fuse though)

The Ultra 106 WILL FIT in the Garmin shuttle bag (use the back holes and flip the cradle around)

For Livescope Shuttles remember this, the Ultra series uses 3x the power than the EchoMap93UHD1 does, even more for the 12″ screen so a battery upgrade is likely in your future…

Number 3 is the best advice.

if it’s anything like the last 2 years, the black friday prices last for weeks on/off as more inventory becomes available…. Remember to look for and use coupon codes with the sale prices…

Cabelas still has the 106 on sale for $999 and club members get another 15% off using CMMsave15. If you are signed up on active junky you can get another 12% cash back, which gets it down to around $750. That’s hard to beat for a 10″ unit. I’ll likely try to sell the GT54 transducer to recoupe a little bit more cash as this will be a livescope only unit

    What is the transducer worth?

I’ve sold 3 over the years for $150 each, but I hit the market asap before it got flooded (I currently see about 8 for sale on FBMP for as long as $75)…nowadays if you can get $75 you should take it (if you don’t plan on using it on your boat)

yep, there are typically a few ways (coupon codes, cash back programs) to get the price down quite a bit making these deals a steal… just remember that the bigger screen requires a bigger battery and weighs alot more..

How does an auction with a Buyout of $125 end up getting to $173?
