Bows For BowFishing

    I am looking for a bow for bowfishing any ideas what brand is best? (Hoyt,PSE,Bowtech,.etc) Any suggestions or opinions would be helpful.

    Think cheap, used, and low draw weight. It’s going to get muddy, slimy, and bloody.

    It’s been a few years since I’ve been out. Like I said, it doesn’t need to be fancy or powerful. I got this relic from Jon Jordan many moons ago in trade for a case of beer! ) The bottle reel is my addition, and I would highly recommend one!

    It’s fun. I need to get back into it a little when time allows.

    So your just use a recurve? I was thinking on getting a $200 gander pse bow its made for bowfishing..

    I wouldn’t spend $200, but that’s me, personally. If you have the funds and will put it to good use, go for it.
