I had someone else tell me Spot Hogg. They are spendy but must be worth it.

Follow-up question. Is a .019 pin too big when you are shooting farther distances? I see if you get the React Pro you get the .010 pins.

Thanks for the link. I had a buddy that bought a used custom sight and was wondering where they were getting them. What sight do you have? I’m leaning more towards the Spot Hogg hunter now. Just need to decide on pin colors. I also like green with red second.

The reach is a nice sight but it isn’t built very rugged. I shoot a Montana black gold surge 5 pin and love it built tough and very bright pins. No experience with a spot Hogg but the ones I’ve looked at seemed nice and never hear complaints about them.

I have the Trophy Ridge React One. mathematically impossible to be inaccurate is what they claim. Since I’m a very shaky shot, I gave it a try.
    Bolted it on
    5 arrows at 20 yds….2 adjustments
    5 arrows at 30 yds…

went out to 70 yds…. which I have never tried in my life, dropped it right in the kill zone.
Went all the way to 100.

From bolting it on in 15 min. time I was perfect out to 100yds!!! This was incredible. I have never been able to shoot long distance.

Its literally as easy as they say
    3 EASY STEPS
Sight in your 20 yard pin using the tool-less micro windage and elevation adjustments.
For the next pin step back to 30 yards and fine tune at that distance before shooting the remaining pins.
Once you have 2 pins sighted in accurately the rest of your pins will be automatically set, it’s that easy.

That’s good to hear. I ended up buying the Trophy Ridge. I wanted to custom order a Spot Hogg 7 pin but couldn’t afford to spend $300 on a sight right now.

I got the Hogg It 7DP .010″ a few years back for field archery. They are simply amazing how you are able to adjust each pin individually or gang adjust the group.

As far as hunting goes, I’ve only needed the first two pins. I needed the 6th and 7th ones for shooting out to 80 yards. That helps to made the 40 yard shots look a lot closer. If you ever get the cash for anything Spot Hogg, get it.

I use an MBG Surge 5 pin and like it. I had an HHA for the longest time and liked it better. Going back to single pin if anyone wants my MBG.

Has anyone ever had an issue with using the Trophy Ridge React One 5 pin sight?
No matter which holes I use to mount it, it’s shoots low…some holes worse than others.
I have the 20 yard pin adjustment maxed out(up) and still shoots 8 inches low at 20 yards.
I’ve tried every hole adjustment with the same results. Won’t go higher than 8 inches low.
I tried reversing the mount too and that’s worse and also the arrow barely clears the sight.

Back from the (almost) dead! I have had this happen to me with my Schaffer Opposition. Brought it to John and he found my rest to be out of alignment, which caused this issue. I use an HDX rest.

    It was the rest.
Took it to the local bow shop and the guy took one look and said yep, quick fix.
He raised and leveled my drop away rest…he tweaked the peep sight too.
2 minutes later I was shooting right on the money at 20 yards.
Still need to sight it in the rest of the way but should be easy enough.
    Another lesson learned!

No issues with my Tropy ridge 5 pin. Sighted in very easy i have had on my bow for 3 years now. Very light not much weight to them. When I get my new bow I would most likely put another one on.

Reading this brings to mind pin color, I cannot pickup red or green and have always had to count down my pins. The last few sights I ve bought I have ordered with all yellow pins, for a small fee.Still have to count down but can see pin on target.
Spot hogg only charged 10$ extra for this on my 5 pin hoggit.
Also having a sight with an extension bar can get the sight out front more, opening up your pin gap and clearing your sight picture for those flatter shooting bows.
