Just picked up a few cargo nets. Are the tops of the cargo nets mounted to the underside of the gunnel? Anyone have a couple of photos of the underside of the gunnel where they attach? Thanks in advance

If your boat didn’t come with them from the factory then I am guessing you are missing the clips that are mounted to loop the net through. You would have one in the very front mounted to the area near the trolling motor receptacle, and one in the back and then 3 or so along the floor.

    Dave,

Were you able to get these cargo nets installed?

I put them in my boat last year. I screwed the top directly to underside of the gunnel. And the bottom in to the casting deck. I can take a few pictures if you would like?

I am very happy with the cargo nets. Easy/cheap to install too.

Have yet to install them. Pictures would be great.

I did notice that they would have to be screwed to a flat piece further back on the underside of the gunnel? or the alumatrack mounts wont slide by?

Where did you find to buy the hardware?

This is on my list for next year’s improvements. I haven’t quite figured out where the best place to get the little clips and things like that yet.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I’ve been trying to find.
