After my recent mishaps with a motor issue, then bringing it in to have it looked at and finding out my transom was rotten, I purchased an alumacraft 175 tournament pro with a 90 horse Yamaha on it. Got it rigged last night and was able to fish this evening with it! Absolutely love it!

Its a 2005, I can get about 35 now with 2 people and a full 32 gallons of gas and 2 full live wells. Absolutely love it so far! Got all my electronics transfered over Friday night to Saturday Morning, then fished Saturday night and all day today with it!

Broke her in good today! Landed my pb walleye too! 27″, caught about 20 eyes throughout the morning!

Nice boat. The wave wackers are great. I had a 92 Lund pro v tiller with a 60 that was great for fishing this boat reminds me of that one way newer and on steroids. That transom trolling motor I used to have the bottom flipped around to make it easier for back trolling. Something worth tinkering with.

Its only a 30lb thrust, going to keep an eye out for a 70lb. And currently it’s wired into the starter battery which is just an awful idea… Selling an older troller today so hopefully I can find something to hang back there with a little more push! The 30 doesn’t move me along very well lol

Best advice I ever got on buying a used boat was to just plan on getting a new trolling motor because the one the previous owner put on will be under powered. 70 might even be too little, I would repost a topic just on that, show the pic again, people on this site besides me are very knowlegable.

The boat actually came with no electronics, I bought a new hds 9 and terrova 80 that I installed the day I got it! Let me tell ya, it’s already had a livewell full of walleye a couple times! Getting a 70lb troller to replace the 30 tomorrow from a buddy who is selling one!

Great news have fun with your new boat.Get a decent cover if not a custom one made if you trailer alot somewhere down the road. And don’t forget to use Yamalube “ring free gas additive”
