I thought I’d take a minute to post a quick review of my Baffin Apex boots. My one word review would be WOW !!!! for those of you looking for a warm boot for extreme cold temps, these are the boots for you. I used these boots on back to back days while deer hunting a few weeks ago. The Temps those 2 mornings were -14 and -19 Degrees. My feet were toasty warm all day both days. I used them Yesterday while ice fishing in -5 degree temps and once again they were warm. I believe the Apex model is being discontinued and I’ve seen some online sales as a great price on them. If you ask me they are well worth the 249.00 retail price they list but I’m sure you can find them online much cheaper. They run a tad small so I’d order a 1/2 to full size larger than you normal tennis shoe size.

Cabelas Saskatchewan Pac boots, own two pair. Never once noticed cold in any negative temps. They are pigs though, be interesting to see if those apex boots are smaller and hold up to the extreme temps.

Those boots sure caught my interest. I see one can get them for $189 online. They look less cumbersom than my old Sorells. Hate to give up on the tried and true after 25 years. I think its time to put them in a glass case in the man cave for display.
