Looking for recommendations on a boot/glove dryer with a minimum of 4 “ports” but would prefer 6. Like to do two p[airs of boots and one pair of gloves at the same time, or various combinations. I’ve had the two place Peet dryers for many years and they are on their last leg.

A four place Peet? Really it’s all I’ve ever seen that’s worth a darn. We bought some off brand powered fan version for our shop once, worked great for the two hours or so the fan survived. Peet’s are just simplicity, a heating coil and physics.

Peet with the heating option. Tried and true.

I lived with a guy with a peet – used to leave it plugged in months at a time . I just use the heat register .

Peet stationary at home. Peet portables on the road. I mostly use the portables at the cabin. Small and effective. I have them in my Mucks right now between outings today.

Saw a 2-place with fan on sale at Costco last night, wasn’t Peet brand though. Anyone used one?

I’ve had an original Peet for probably 20 years and it’s great but takes at least overnight to dry some stuff. The fan versions get most stuff dry in like an hour.

They’re awesome. I was initially going to make something similar but stumbled accross those and figured I’d save myself the hassle.

I’ve seen a homemade version of what Wiggum posted over a heat register. PVC that went both ways with a computer board fan to push the warm air. People had that at a snowmobile camp to dry boots, gloves, and helmets. They added small holes also to dry neckies n facemasks. Picture that Green Glove Dryer – longer and with different length uprights. The smaller hole were in between the uprights for lighter, quicker, drying items. I could give you a quick rough sketch if you want? I remember that thing working great with a large group staying in tight quarters and a crap ton of wet gear.
