Boot fitting question

Should winter boots fit a little loose or should they be snug? Not tight fitting. I bought a new boot and find it to be a little loose inside, but man are my feet warm. They aren’t sloppy but a little loose. Any opinions?

    Clever little bear!

Confused. If I missed A joke please inform me. A bit loose will be warmer, allowing your toes to move. A bit of dead air space doesnt hurt either. But, Too big and they feel heavy and floppy.

It’s all relative to the type of boot. There should only be slight compression of the insulation. Depending on the type of insulation.

It should be in contact with your foot as much as possible with out totally compressing the insulation.
