Bonita Springs Fla Fishing?

Hey-Son and I are headed mid march for a week–grandpa has an off shore charter lined up but I was wondering if anyone has any exp fishing this area–Son has peacock bass on his fish bucket list so given we will have access to a car we might try to screw around a little and see what happens! Thanks

I usually go down there a couple times a year. But that area got hammered with the hurricane. The areas around there I fished are all very very different since the storm. That time of year is usually still bottom fishing shallow, Sheepshead, pompano etc. but not sure how it’s going to be this year!
