I have been seeing more of them around my place as well Steve,I am starting to believe thats what has dented the already too low pheasant population and the turkey numbers as well in our area.

are you seeing the same thing down there??

I haven’t seen 1 in ten years around here and the other morning saw 3 of them together, kind of crazy

We see one once or twice a week while deer hunting and have seen them in our yard several times, of course the house is 1/4 mile from the road. Trapped this one a couple of years ago.

I didn’t weigh it, I gave it to my brother, he wanted to get one mounted.

that is cool steve what part of the state are you located? we have seen a few up near moose lake

SCRATCHER We are in south central Iowa about 30 miles north of the Missouri border. here is another one from 2 days ago
