I am headed up to flag island again this year over the 4th of July but instead of driving to young’s bay we would like to drive the boat from somewhere on the south shore (weather permitting). Does anyone know where I can safely park and leave a truck/trailer for 4 days? Any information helps.

Greg, give Long Point Resort a call, I am pretty sure they are cool with it. They charge $15 to launch. But it cuts off quite a few miles to get to the islands. We launched out of there 2 days out of the 4 days we were up last weekend. Good luck up there, enjoy it, let us know how it goes.
