    Can take a 19 ft. runabout boat from Eau Claire/Chippewa River to lake Wissota?

    There are 3 dams between EC and Wissota on the chippewa.

    A 19ft runabout would make for a fun portage……….

    Stick to Lake Wissota and the Chippewa River north up to Jim Falls. I have ran JetSki on all portions of the Chippewa from Eau Claire damn to Jim Falls; I’ve gotten to learn it and a 19ft runabout is not the craft to do it in. !
