Hi everybody, I have a Karavan galvanized trailer, 1 gray fender seems quite oxidized {the other has been replaced due to a blow out} does anybody know of or heard of a way to get the shine back on them, I am hoping there may be a way to try before ordering a new one.

    Thanks in advance,

    Crickets here I guess.

I would think if it’s truly oxidation, it could be buffed out.
    I really don’t have a clue.

If it’s a plastic fend you can try buffing it. That should shine it back up then apply some sort of product made to shine up plastic which should help it to look newer longer.

Hi Stan thanks for the info, I tried a fine polishing cream just a small spot and I got a shiny spot but my arm got sore : ) so I’m going to get a head light polishing kit you can attach to a drill.

If it is plastic take a propane torch and heat it up like you are just warming it . Check out you tube videos
