Has anybody here gone? Anything new or just a bunch of pleasure boats, yachts, pontoons? I have always found the Sportsman Show later in the year to have more in fishing style boats. Hope that changes some year.

Lots of pontoons as usual, but I actually thought there was a better selection of fishing boats than other years. I’ve wanted to see a SeaArk rivercat 200 in person for a while now, and was surprised to see one at the show. Looked like a heck of a rig!

I went to the one in Fargo yesterday. It was loaded with pontoons but had lots of Skeeter Warrior and Lunds also. Saw one pontoon with a 400 hp Merc that they wanted 140,000 for. Reed’s had a small selection of Ice Armor clothing and gloves for 40% off. I bought a helix 9 MSI for $1289 and a friend got a new 24 volt Ulterra with built in Mega Side Imaging for $2500. Also watched Humminbirds rep give a talk on the new MSI Helix and Solix. Lots of boats and pontoons but not a lot of people.

I went on Saturday for about 3 hours. I just like looking at boats, touching them, climbing in them, etc. The Lund and crestliner area had a lot of boats, more so than usual. If anything it gets my mind on spring time.

I spent a short time walking around lost. Met some Ido folks like Trophy19 and some guy named Dean there. Too many to post here.

I too thought there were plenty of fishing style boats. Highest price was $104,000. I was disappointed.

Had a great time giving away candy and I Boated stickers at the Red Wing Marina booth. Seems like everyone knows the owner Cindy.

our QCA outdoor show is in 3 weeks. Its definitely not the greatest show by any means but its a great way to see people I don’t usually see all the time and basically spend a saturday digging through bins of cheap crap and listening to al linder, babe winkleman, or hank parker blabber on about this or that.
