Boat Seats in Portable

Thinking about upgrading my seats in my Otter to boat seats for the long days of sitting down. Anyone done this and how did you prefer it over the factory seats?

I’ve been considering this in my portable…the only thing holding me back is the concern of added weight.

I have the boat style seats in my Frabill and I would never trade them for anything. Far better than any bench seat. Only drawback is you don’t have the bench next to you to set a small jig box or bait puck.

I replaced the Eskimo factory webbed seats for the best boat seat Cabelas offered (around $100) and actually lost weight by scrapping the bulky steal frame. Though it is comfy it changed the profile of my shack when folded down making my travel in a compact suv a pain when my Brother comes along with his shack.
