The time has come that my son needs his own seat in the boat, ma is tired of him riding on his lap. I’m going to replace my seat and he will get my current seat mounted on the passenger pedestal and ma gets a new air ride pedestal. Want to get the sires opinion on a good, yet budget minded seat. No captain chair styles, room is pretty cramped in there and a seat much bigger than what I have and Ill never get the side rod locker open (2001 pro sport for reference). Obviously I won’t be able to match existing exactly, but I’d like it to not look ridicoulus either. When I get home I’ll snap a picture of what I have. I like the attwood centric style seat, but just not willing to pay $300 for a stupid seat. Barring a catastrophic failure of some kind I don’t for see this boat being replaced for quite some time so looking for opinions on something sturdy (needs to handle my 260 pound carcass bouncing around on it) and utilitarian that won’t break the bank.
