I have an 01 Alumacraft tournament pro 175 and I can’t figure out a good storage method for my rods. the side storage isn’t big enough and there’s no great place to mount a multiple rod storage rack.

I remember seeing a rod rack that fits into the seat post holes but for some reason I can’t find one or i’m not searching for it correctly on the interwebs. anyone know what I’m talking about and or have link or better idea for me?

    I need one of those!

From this website showing a DIY…

If you build one, build two and I’ll pay you semi-handsomely for your efforts lol I barely have time to shop online for one let alone build one.

I had vertical storage and it was kind of a pain. This is my old Lund. Could you do something like this along the sides? I had about 8’ here to hold 4 rods.

I potentially could but I have a bunch of hoses and wiring in the front of mine that make it a real PIA to get rods in and out and with my trolling gear I can only fit maybe 2 of them in there.

1 1/4″ pvc for an 8′ section is around $5 or something. I made rod holders out of that and stuck them wherever convenient in the boat. That size holds them real snug without bouncing around in holder. I have 6 in front of windshield and 4 in the back. Could do more but that’s all I need.

It’s not super fancy but it is super effective without being right in the middle of boat taking up a seat post. You get used to fishing around them.

I have this one that was custom made for my Pro V but works with any of the Sprinfield seat bases. Worked well for storage and had the holders mounted on the back side so could actually troll with 4 rods too in addition to the storage. It isn’t used now, so if interested I would make you a heck of a deal.

Rod Wrangler was made years ago. I don’t know if it still is. There is a guy on WC that builds them for your seat pedestal.
