Boat rigging question

I just purchased a 07′ ranger 620. It has a gen 2 touch with structure scan already on it. I want to add a helix 12 si for mapping and additional imaging. Will they interfere with each other? How far apart do i mount the transducers.

Is anyone running this set up?

    Thabks in advance!

Crosstalk can be a problem if both transducers are running the same frequency. But modern sonar units have noise filtering adjustment. I have seen 3 transducers mounted on the same board just inches apart. I have one on the port side and 2 on the starboard side. The most important thing is to have a smooth, bubble-free flow of water on the transducer face. That can take some adjusting of position, height and angle, so use a transducer board to minimize the number of holes in your transom.
