Boat ramps pool 2

    Is there any boat ramps open on the upper part of pool two in Saint Paul I can launch at on Saturday? Thanks for any info.

    Willie’s Hidden Harbor should be open. I plan on launching there tomorrow.

    I was actually seeing if anything closer to fort snelling area, Ford damn was open not sure about any of the public landings.

    Last I heard, Watergate Marina and 494 are closed due to high water. Hidden Falls is closed too, not sure about Lilydale. I assume Lions Levee is under water too. I was hoping to get out tomorrow as well.

    Anyone have some current info? OK, not info on the current, but an update on ramps jester

    Willie’s Hidden Harbor is South of 494…..I just called and they are open and it’s $10. Nothing north is open. Hidden Falls Park is completely closed. If you want to fish up there you’ll need to run up there from the south.

    I’m going out tomorrow at some point…I’ll look for you, Dave, if you are out.

    I’m likely going to head south and explore a bit since the high water will open up some areas.

    Drove around today to take a peak. Lilydale closed 494 closed watergate closed. Didn’t check out Lions.

    Looks like the water is dropping pretty quick – any idea what the ramps are looking like and if they’re all still closed up? (other than Willies)

    Long time lurker here. Really appreciate everyone’s info. I haven’t fished Pool 2 in a long time and plan to fish it some this spring. Hopefully I can add to the conversation. I live close to the 494 ramp and Lion’s Levee and took pictures about 11:00 AM today (Wednesday). Both were closed. River was at 11.2 feet

    Sorry for got to respond back. Yup road closed to Lilydale both ways. However there is no longer any water up by pool and yacht so hopefully they move the barricades soon. 494 had barricades but someone had moved them a bit to the side yesterday did not see any trailers. Water was below the fishing dock/pier so would think it would be semi easy to launch there if you are alright moving the barricade a bit.

    Any work on Lions? I know it was closed Saturday but the water’s dropped a good foot since then.

    Lions is still closed, Sunday 4/26. The dock is going to need some work.
