Boat Lift Powered Winch

    Just bought a 2400# Floe Vertical lift from the neighbor for a screaming deal. I want to get a powered (preferably DC) winch motor/assembly system. I checked with the local FLOE dealer I usually go through but he quoted me at $2K for the unit. That’s more than I paid for the entire lift and canopy. Anyone else have another after-market system they’ve had good luck with for a powered winch that you’d think would fit a FLOE?

    Calling all good D I Y mechanical people.

    You need to post the voltage used in the unit. The HP ….rpm….must have a failsafe mechanical brake.. Is the brake powered by the motor voltage ? Feet per minute of FULL and EMPTIED drum. Can you get a manual & post it ?

    D I Y requires facts of the drive requirements.
