Does the drain plug get installed from the inside or outside of the boat.? I have to move the fuel tank every time I need to access it. Thanks

You can try from the outside. If it’s snug and you get a good seal it should work. Carry an extra and keep it down where it goes in should the outside one work it’s way loose.

I use one of the plugs that has a T and screws tight from the outside…..never came out (always have a spare)…..

Use a plug like Mudshark suggested. You can snug them up quite a bit. If you can’t pull it out when tightened you should be fine. Guess you could put the plug on the outside and pour some water on the inside and see if it leaks out to verify you have a good seal. I use mine on the outside. I tied a small length of paracord around the skinny part of the plug and tied the other end to some part of the motor mount so I don’t loose it. Good luck!

X2 to what Mudshark wrote. No way I could access the drain from inside. Been using the screw type plug – with the current rules re: AIS, you got to remove the plug – they are cheap get a couple.
