Anyone ever tried one of these? Reviews on Overtons and Amazon are a little sketchy but I like the idea. Or does anyone have a better solution to help keep airflow on your covered boat?

Boat DehumidifierThis is what I use.

I just make sure the bilge is dry before you put the cover on and it has worked for me.

Solar and use in wet/damp weather doesn’t seem to make sense to me.

It’s standard equipment on the Skeeter Solera.

I’ll let you know how it works in a couple of years.

The only problem I’ve had with it is the folks at the garage I’m storing my boat at keep calling me asking me if I’ve left something running in the boat. (It’s on a timer)

BK, are you referencing the fan or dehumidifier?

I use this as well but was just thinking some airflow would be nice. Maybe I’m just paranoid after shelling out cash to repair my transom…

    Solar fan?

The fan on the Solara is run off of the battery which is on the charger.

I believe the fan runs 15 mins on then 15 minutes off.
